To become a member of Norfolk First Credit union you must live or work in Norfolk.

Easy to save
It is easy to save, either locally or by standing order.

Free life insurance

Members up to age 80 receive free life insurance cover for every £1 they save up to £5,000.

Affordable loans

You have access to affordable loans (up to 2% interest per month of the reducing balance which is 26.8%APR). Please click here to see our loans page, and a table showing typical loan repayment amounts.

Free loan protection

When you take out a loan with us you also get Loan Protection. If you were to die before your Credit Union loan is repaid, this  protection can help towards settling the debt, so that it isn’t passed on to your loved ones.

Shareholding

You automatically become a shareholder in NFCU, so you have a vote at the AGM and a say in how the Credit Union is run.

Profit share

Any profits are shared back to you and other members as a yearly dividend. This is based on average savings during the financial year October to September and is agreed by members at the AGM.
